KR: Kingdom of Robots

Six robots, one keyboard: the 2015 sword-and-hammer fighter, remade for the browser.

A 1-on-1 platform fighting game inspired by Brawlhalla and Super Smash Bros: collect your three orbs, knock out the other robot or be ahead when the 2:30 run out, on stages with spikes, falling platforms and screen edges that wrap you to the other side. Steve Aragón started it in 2015 in ActionScript 3, drew and animated the robots by hand and wrote his own small engine; it shipped as a Windows .exe in 2017 and gained a hidden online tic-tac-toe in 2019. The 2026 remake plays in the browser: a small Flash player built on three.js reads the original SWF, and the game goes further with six robots (the two from 2015 and four new ones made from the same bodies), a special move each, double jumps, knockback, a camera that keeps both robots in frame, a CPU opponent that navigates every stage, online rooms and a new interface. The 2015 original also plays on the site through Ruffle.
