Privacy policy

Steve Aragón Games are the games made by Steve Aragón, an independent developer in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This policy explains what data the games and this website (stevearagonsite.com) use, what for, who processes it and how to delete it. We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Which games

This policy covers every game of Steve Aragón Games. When a game does something of its own, its page says so:

Playing without an account

You don't need an account to play. As a guest, a game may give you a random identifier, and your browser keeps it with the name you chose and your options. We don't ask for your email or any other personal data.

Signing in with Google or Discord (optional)

Some games let you sign in with Google or Discord to keep your profile. The sign-in is handled by Supabase, our accounts provider. From your Google account we only ask for the basic scopes (openid, email and profile), and we use:

your name and profile picture, to show your profile in the game;
your email, to recognise your account when you come back. We don't send you emails.

With an account, a game keeps your game profile: games played, rankings, achievements and similar. We don't ask for access to your contacts, files, calendar or anything else, and this data isn't shared with anyone or used for anything else.

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your account and data

In games with accounts, go to your profile and choose to delete your account: it deletes your profile, your games and your sign-in user. You can also write to privacy@stevearagonsite.com and we'll delete everything within 30 days.

Who else processes data

Only these providers, and only for what's listed:

Supabase: Accounts and sign-in, and the game profiles.
Google: Sign in with Google (optional).
Discord: Sign in with Discord and the games played inside Discord.
Amplitude: Usage analytics (for example, how many games are finished) and, in some games, anonymous session recordings.
GlitchTip: Technical details of errors, to fix them.
Cloudflare: Hosting of the site and the games, security and anti-abuse checks.
Mercado Pago: Donations (we never see your card).
Patreon: Donations, on their site and under their rules.
Google AdSense: Ads on this website (not in the games).

Analytics never record what you type, nor audio or camera. Donations are always voluntary and processed by the payment provider: we only keep the amount, the status and, if you were signed in, which account it belongs to.

This website

This site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings or at aboutads.info.
Your choice of light or dark mode is kept in your browser, and nothing else.
The blog posts come from DEV.to and are fetched by our server, so your browser doesn’t talk to DEV.to.
The tools for AI assistants (the MCP server and WebMCP) only read public content and keep nothing.

Children

Each game says its minimum age (above). We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and want us to delete a minor's data, write to privacy@stevearagonsite.com.

How long we keep it and your rights

Account data lasts until you delete the account. Analytics and error data are kept by each provider for its usual period. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to privacy@stevearagonsite.com. Under Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law 25.326 you can also file a complaint with the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date below changes too, and important changes are announced in the games. For any question, write to privacy@stevearagonsite.com. The rules for using the games are in the terms of use.
